Summer is not complete without four kitchen, three escapades, two concerts and two festivals, according to a recent survey.
The survey of 2,000 Americans uncovered those essential for a perfect summer, barbecue trends and most popular barbecue foods and flavors on the grids of Americans.
The two-thirds of Americans (66%) said that the summer grill season is their favorite time of year and more than a quarter (27%) confessed that, regardless of the season, they always wait for the summer barbecue season next year.
The study by Talker Research on behalf of Spartannash, the study found that the North -Americans plan to attend five barbecues this summer and to welcome four.
Gen Z was more likely than any other generation to say that summer is not complete without at least one barbecue.
According to the results of the generations, there are 11 guests, on average, in perfect kitchen, and most respondents believe that barbecue is a community effort, as 64% claim that it is a sin to show -to a kitchen without bringing anything to share.
Given the more popular grilled trends, the most popular kitchen sides are potato salad (60%), corn on the cob (54%), baked beans (53%) and watermelon (48%), although this varied according to the generation.
While 70%of baby boomers get potato salad, tastes change, with approximately half of millennia (47%) and Z surveyed (53%) voting by MAC and cheese as a favorite side.
Regardless of the sides they enjoy, the survey found that the most important cooking activities are cards (27%), the corn (26%) and swimming (24%).
And, having a further look at the main event, what is really on the grid, the survey asked the North -Americans about their favorite grid staples, and found that burgers (77%), hot dogs (65%), chicken (55%), steak (54%), ribs (46%) and Bratwurst (25%).
The poll asked the respondents on which shoes they like to take a barbecue, and found that 20% prefer grill staff as “grilled teacher” and 22% like to be in charge of side dishes as “supervisor on the sides”.
Twelve percent enjoys the organization of desserts as a “sweets specialist” and another 12% chooses to cover drinks as “cooler captain”.
Taking a snapshot of the US barbecue veterans or “grilled masters”, most (61%) have been grilled for more than 20 years and 45% said they say goodbye to the grid at least once a week.
“Summer is the perfect time for kitchen favorites: from a bite with all accessories to a table full of sides, salads and other barbecue staples,” said Erin Storm, vice president and marketing manager. “With a wide variety of staples, sides and bats, we are excited to give Grill Masters a unique destination to explore black and daring flavors and create the final summer grill experience.”
The survey examined grilled flavor preferences and found that most people (77%) like to try new flavors when grilling or attending a kitchen.
And the favorite flag -north -north flags are the flavor of barbecue (61%), garlic (34%), a generally smoking flavor (30%), Teriyaki (25%), honey (25%) and brown sugar (24%).
Discovering consumption habits for one of the preferred grilled grilled staples in the United States, Bratwurst, 43% said they eat at least once a month and that only one in 10 (13%) of the Brut canteens will have their plain.
The best brown accessories varied a lot by generation. While the mustard came out as number 1, it could go out, as 60% of the baby boomers selected it, compared to only one third of the zers gene.
The Chuckraut also fades in popularity, as it was revealed to be a favorite compliance for Baby Boomers (40%), but not so much for the Z gene (11%). In contrast, younger generations are becoming more and more for cheese and peppers: the accessories that baby boomers generally were the least likely to select.
And the best way to cook Bratwursts, according to the poll, is in a grill (52%), on an open fire (13%) and in a smoker (11%).
“It is clear that the grill season brings people together, whether to enjoy classic summer products or to discover new unexpected flavors,” said Storm. “Although the ingredients of the best summer may seem a bit different from the kitchen to the kitchen, our goal is to offer fresh, fun and unique options for each picnic table throughout the summer.”
